I was part of the student production team for Daila where I shadowed the lighting designer and lighting programmer, as well as helping with the lighting tech’s team. During one of the shows I spent half of it as a lighting operator and the other half on the ground where I helped with the lighting as needed, and involved flying a practical light in.
